Google Ads is a very cost-effective way to generate leads, because Google ads are based on the keywords that you target for your campaign. For example, if you have an HVAC company and want more customers in Arizona, then set up campaigns targeted towards people who live in AZ or search for “HVAC” within that state. If they click on the ad it will take them directly to your website where they can fill out their contact information and request a free estimate from you.
Facebook has two different options for advertising – organically through pages, groups or posts; or paid advertisements similar to those found with Google AdWords. Unlike other social media platforms which have a minimal cost for the first few hundred followers, Facebook ads are based on page likes.
However at this point in time we have not been able to find an HVAC company that has successfully used Facebook to generate leads and they have preferred Google Ads as their lead generation tool of choice.
